Our programme is designed for advanced conducting students and young professional conductors. Participants will have an opportunity to work with a prominent Czech opera ensemble at the JK Tyl Theatre in Pilsen under the guidance of chief conductor Norbert Baxa.
The masterclass follows the structure of professional theatre rehearsals. Our process begins with private lessons accompanied by piano, subsequently joined by soloists. It then progresses to rehearsals with the full orchestra, chorus and ensemble. The highlight of the masterclass is a fully staged public performance conducted by the participants.
